Quality, understood as a culture, is a strategic factor for that competencies, skills and abilities of its graduates, students and staff are recognized by society in general.
The Polytechnic School, to satisfy their stakeholders, undertakes to employ all their resources technical, economic and human, always in strict compliance with the legal requirements applicable, both how State and European regional level.
The General objectives of the Escuela Politécnica Superior, consistent with those set out in the Strategic Plan of the University of Alicante, and considering the needs and expectations of stakeholders (students, PDI, PAS, society), in general are as follows:
Provide training directed towards excellence, ensuring an academic offer in accordance with the needs and expectations of our users and society in general.
Ensure that the quality policy is understood and accepted by all stakeholders and which is available to all of them.
PAS and PDI facilitate the obtaining of the necessary training to carry out their activities.
Systematically guide the direction and management of the Centre to the objectives of teaching and research.
Ensure the quality management system is effective and is controlled and reviewed on a regular basis to achieve continuous improvement.
To present to the society and to prospective students the training offer of the Polytechnic School, designing mechanisms for the recruitment and selection of degree, Master and PhD students in coherence with the objectives of quality of the Polytechnic School.
To promote the recruitment of quality teachers in the Center, in those figures depending on the hiring of school commissions. Likewise, promote stable faculty hiring, both official and labour, as well as promoting these figures of those teachers who are in conditions of access to them.
