The Degree in Multimedia Engineering stands somewhere in between traditional engineering degrees and computer engineering. Its main objective is to train future ITC technicians to develop new Multimedia projects for the digital entertainment industry and manage content to be spread through information networks.
This high-class training programme is based upon "project learning". Students learn how to build digital systems for multimedia management, provide technical support to multimedia projects for cultural endeavours, telecommunications, teaching or private companies, as well as to create and provide support for all technical elements involved in sound and image creation as used in what is known as "digital entertainment".
The Undergraduate Degree Information Report, together with Safety Monitoring & Improving Reports and Surveys, are available at the Internal Quality Assurance System website.
The Agreements reached by the Degree Committee and its members can be publically accessed at the Polytechnic University College Regulations website.
