Carlos J. Villagrá Arnedo

Brief Curriculum

Carlos J. Villagrá Arnedo is a Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). He participated in the working committee of Multimedia Engineering degree, has been its head teacher from 2010 to 2013 and he is currently a member of the degree committee. Also, he teachs the subject Mathematics I (Practices) in the first year of the degree. He obtained the Proficiency in Academic Research in Computer Engineering in 2006. Francisco J. Mora Lizán is Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). His teaching and researching focuses on artificial intelligence applied to different areas, in particular, intelligent agents, to software development and management, and to education. He has participated in numerous forums related to the adaptation of curricula to the EHEA. Currently he has the position of Secretary of the Department. Rafael Molina Carmona is Associate Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). His educational activity and researching focuses on the Artificial Intelligence applied to different fields, in particular, to the education, to Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics and to the computer design and manufacturing. He has hold the position of secretary and director of his department, and has participated in numerous forums related with the adaptation of syllabus to the EHEA. Faraón Llorens Largo is Associate Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). He has hold different positions of direction, standing out the ones of Director of the High Polytechnical School (2000-2005) and Vice Chancellor of Technology and Educational Innovation (2005-2012) both at the AU and the one of Executive Secretary of the Sectorial Commission CIT of the CRSU (2010-2012). He received the AENUI award for the Quality and Educational Innovation in 2013. His works focuses on the fields of the artificial intelligence, the development of video games, the application of digital technologies to the education and the IT government. Francisco J. Gallego Durán

Francisco J. Gallego Durán is computer engineer in Computer Science by the University of Alicante (2003). Researcher of the Industrial Informatics and Artificial Intelligence group (i3a) from 2004. Diploma of Advanced Studies in Computer Engineering (2005). Assistant Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU) from 2005. He began in computing in 1988, and since then his main interests have been the video games and the Artificial Intelligence. He has designed and developed a lot of video games, between which include Mad University, Screaming Racers, Box Attack and PLMan. He is Technical Director of ByteRealms group from 2008, member of AEPIA and AENUI, and has a special interest in the educational potential of the video games. Miguel Ángel Lozano Ortega

Miguel Ángel Lozano Ortega is Assistant Dr. Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). His educational activity in the last years has focused on Software Engineering, Web technologies, and the Programming of Mobile Devices. He is director of the University Expert in Application Development for Mobile Devices, University Expert in Design and Creation of Video games, and Mobile Vision Research Laboratory. Gabriel J. García Gómez

Gabriel J. García Gómez is Computer Engineer by the Alicante University (2005). He obtained the 1st award OMRON of Initiation to the investigation and Innovation in Automatic by the works made in his degree final project. Since he works at the researching group of Automatic, Robotic and Artificial Vision (AUROVA) investigating mainly in the field of the visual control of robots manipuladores and the artificial vision. Scholar FPI of the Valencian Generalitat from 2006, began to teach in 2008 like Assistant Professor at the Physics, Engineering Systems and Signal Theory department (PESSTD). He obtained the Doctor mention in the program of Interuniversity Doctorate in Automatic and Robotic in 2010. His thesis, related with the visual-strength control of manipulator robots, obtained in 2011 the Second nNtional award to the best Thesis of Robotics of 2010 awarded by the Automatic Spanish Committee (ASC). He is Assistant Doctor Professor at the PESSTD from 2010. Inside the Multimedia Engineering degree, he has teached classes of the subject Computer-generated Image and Video in the course 2012/13 and since the course 2013/14 teachs Digital Post-Production. Mireia L. Sempere Tortosa

Mireia L. Sempere Tortosa is Assistant Dr. Professor at the Science of Computing and Artificial Intelligence department at the Alicante University (AU). His educational activity and researching focuses on the artificial intelligence applied to different fields. She has been head teacher of the Computer Engineering degree, and nowadays she is its deputy director. Besides, she has also been director of the University Master in Computer Engineering. Jose Manuel Iñesta Quereda is Full Professor at the Languages and Computing Systems department (LCSD) at the Alicante University (AU). His educational activity and researching focuses on the field of computer-generated music and sound. He is the manager of the Music by Computer Laboratory of the Forms Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Group. Pedro J. Ponce de León Amador is Assistant Doctor Professor at the Languages and Computing Systems department (LSSD) at the Alicante University (AU). He participated in the working Commission of the Multimedia Engineering degree. His teaching and researching focuses on the field of computer-generated music and sound. He teaches also at the Computer Engineering degree and at the International Master of Information Technology. As a researcher, he is member of the computer-generated music laboratory of the Forms Recognition and Artificial Intelligence group. Jose Vicente Berná Martínez

José Vicente Berná is Assistant Dr. Professor at the Information Technology and Computing department at the Alicante University (AU). He obtained the Computer Engineering degree with specialization in Management in 2003 and the Diploma in Computer Engineering in 2004. He reached the Doctorate in 2011 and obtained the Doctorate Extraordinary Award in 2013. At present he teachs besides in Management and Government IT, Distributed System, Ubiquitous Computation and Web Servers in other degrees and masters of the AU. At present, his researching activity is focused on computer networks, distributed systems and bio-inspired systems. He leads the Smart City project at the Alicante University. He collaborates with several companies of the local territory, has participated and leaded the development of multiple commercial systems ERP and CRM, web development, on-line marketing and SEO strategies, and is the founder of Quierocambiarlo.com web.
