Within the program of most of the subjects there are three types of hands-on, being:
Practices with computer: such practices occur in computer (a computer for each student), where they apply the theoretical and practical knowledge learned in class through specific applications of occupational safety and health (OSH). Used among the applications developed by the National Institute of occupational safety and health (INSHT), as well as those of other national and international prestige in the field of the OSH ( HSE, INAIL, INRS, NIOSH, etc.).
Laboratory practice: there are specific laboratories where practical activities (in groups of 3/4 students) using measuring equipment adjusted to existing OSH legislation, such as: sound level meter, dosimeter, vibration meter, luxmeter, thermohygrometer, instrumentation for measurement of electromagnetic fields (EMFs), pump high and low flow, termoanemometro, etc.
Seminars: is counted with the participation of different companies specializing in fields themselves and related to the OSH, from prevention services (own and others), to manufacturers, such as tools, instrumentation, ventilation systems or personal protective equipment (examples: Bosch, Casella, Soler & Palau, 3M, etc.).
